A world leader in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries and illnesses, Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, part of the Kerlan-Jobe Institute and an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the spine, shoulder, elbow, knee, hand, and foot, as well as orthopedic trauma, arthritis, and work-related injuries. At Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, our goal is to give the most accurate diagnosis that prompts the best treatment for early recovery.

Since the clinic’s inception in 1965, our medical experts have gained both national and international recognition as pioneers in the fields of sports medicine and orthopedics. Our physicians have developed medical advancements that have improved surgical methods and procedures to enhance treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery of patients, helping to establish the clinic as a preeminent center for research and education in orthopedics. We are a group of experts working together for the benefit of the patient and the community.

Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic is also home to a renowned orthopedic and sports medicine fellowship program, the first accredited sports medicine fellowship in the country, now one of the largest of its kind. Our physicians are devoted to training the next generation of orthopedic surgeons in cutting-edge techniques and state-of-the-art care.

Our current staff of orthopedists are proud to serve as team physicians and consultants to a wide variety of Southern California’s professional teams including the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Kings, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Los Angeles Sparks.
