About the Fellowship Programs

As a preeminent center for research and education in orthopedics and sports medicine, Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic remains a pioneer in medical breakthroughs. We have been responsible for developing advanced surgical methods and procedures to enhance treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery for our patients.

In 1973, the clinic established a sports medicine fellowship program that is now one of the country's largest and most respected programs of its kind and has grown to include fellowships in Sports Neurology and Adult Shoulder & Elbow Reconstruction. Each year this program provides intensive training and research for a select group of the nation's finest young doctors.

The Fellowship Programs are designed to be an enriching addition to an already extensive orthopedic education with the goal to develop clinical acumen for orthopedics, academic experience with research, and medical education and leadership development. Sports medicine and orthopedic proficiency will be gained through intense clinical training at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.
