Vernon B. Williams, M.D. specializes in neurology and pain management, including conditions of the neck and spine, sports neurology, and electromyography. Dr. Williams earned his medical doctorate at the University of Michigan, after which he completed his internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and residency in Neurology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He completed a clinical fellowship in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Division of Pain Medicine at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He is the Director of the Kerlan-Jobe Center for Sports Neurology.

Dr. Williams is a significant contributor in the medical professional community and is an active member of a number of medical societies, including the American Medical Association, American Academy of Neurology, American Pain Society, American Association for the Study of Headache, and International Injection Society. He has authored several book chapters and journal publications and facilitated more than 30 lectures. Dr. Williams is regularly sought after by major media outlets for his expertise and insights.
